The call for platforms for the JET Alumni Association (JETAA) Canada’s Country Representative has begun and we’re looking for interested candidates! The Canada Representative is integral to unifying Canada’s various chapters and representing our country on the JETAA-International level.
The successful candidate will submit a platform that states the following:
Experience with JETAA
Vision for future of JETAA chapters in Canada
Action plan for year ahead and ideas to strengthen JETAA Canada
The appointed Returning Officer will conduct the elections, including the collection of platforms, distribution of platforms for voting, counting and collecting the votes, and announcing the winner.
Platforms schedule:
• Returning Officer call out for Platforms: Feb 11, 2013
• Election Platforms due: March 4, 2013
• Platforms collected and sent to Chapters: March 6, 2013
• Voting opens: March 27, 2013
• Voting closes: April 3, 2013
• Returning Officer publishes results: April 5, 2013
