The spring session of funded Japanese classes for JET alumni have now come to a close. The classes are half conversational and half structural. Plus they are a great way to keep up your Japanese.
The next session will be held in the fall, however the instructor will be different. The March classes, mark the last time that Sugimoto Yoko Sensei will teach the JETAA classes, as she is returning to Japan in July.
Sugimoto-Sensei has been the Japanese instructor since the classes’ origins over 10 years ago. We are sad to see her go and offer her much gratitude for continually instructing us in proper Japanese grammar. As she is as much a part of JETAA Toronto, we will miss her and hope to see her again, maybe on the streets of Tokyo. Best of luck Sugimoto-Sensei and Doomo Arigatou Gozaimashita!
