JIT Automation Inc. is an engineering company founded 1982 to promote Just In Time production by improving productivity, efficiency, and profitability through QDC and Injection molding consultation with our Japanese affiliates.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Assume full responsibility for management of designated accounts, including recommendations for both short and long term growth strategies
- Determine sales call frequency for all assigned customers and make personal sales calls
- Promote all new products and product improvements and target new business opportunities
- Make recommendations to customers regarding the products and services for use in certain applications
- Work with Inside Sales to develop and revise quotations as required to secure new business
- Gain and maintain knowledge of competitors’ offerings and sales organizations
- Resolve all customer complaints in a timely manner
- Produce an annual business plan to drive and expand business with key accounts as well as develop new business and partnerships
- Achieve or exceed sales and profit targets identified in business plan
- Expand market share through regular customer visits and cold calling
JOB REQUIREMENTS
- 3-5 years business development with preference given to experience in the manufacturing automation and/or automotive/vehicle manufacturing sector.
KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS REQUIRED
- 3-5 years business development experience
- College Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Automation, and/or Instrumentation and Control, and/or Process Engineering, and/or Automated Manufacturing; (or Equivalent related field and directly related work experience)
- At least 3 years of experience in the sale of automated solutions in the manufacturing industries (automotive highly regarded);
- Skill to identify and reach goals;
- Motivated, customer-oriented service and strong desire to succeed;
- Ability to work alone or to work as a team;
- Long-term commitment;
- Excellent capacities in oral and written communication, in English (essential)
