The Consulate General of Japan is looking for some volunteers to assist with occasional school visits over the next couple of months.

At this time we are not able to pay an honorarium or cover transit fees. We hope to have transportation secured, when that is not possible, we will have to take transit. Most of the classes we need help with are during the day at elementary or middle schools.
Typical topics requested by the schools:
general information on Japan, origami, calligraphy, Japanese games and simple Japanese vocabulary.
